Some Poems I Did Not Write

When I went the Women's Voices Choir "Sparks of Divinity" concert at Duke Chapel last month, there were two poems that they'd arranged (no habla music, not sure if that's the right term) into songs. I loved the imagery of both of them, only one of which I can find at the moment:

The Breeze at Dawn

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.

You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.

People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.

The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.
